Sean Combs also known as Puff Daddy and P. Diddy. This hip hop rapper is a self made millionaire, a Grammy winning recording artist, record producer, part time actor restaurant owner and he also has a clothing line.

He studied business administration at Howard University and then talked his way into an internship at Uptown Records, climbing the ladder to top executive in mere months. He was fired the following year, most likely due to being too ambitious, and he then founded Bad Boy Records, which would evolve into his media empire.

He is an estimated worth of US$346 million making him the richest in the hip hop entertainment business. His personal life has being plagued by police charges and court appearances. In 1999 he and girlfriend at the time Jennifer Lopez were involved in a gun shooting incident. He was charged for firearms violations and was also pursed in the civil courts for damages.

Although he was acquitted of the firearm charges, he has also had several assault charges against him as well as a driving offence.

He had a name change from Puff daddy to P. Diddy in an attempt to clean up his image.

He has 4 children; the first being Justin who was born in 1994 to Misa Hylton-Brim. He then went on to have 3 children with long time on again off again girlfriend Kim Porter - a son Christian in 1997 and then identical twin girls on 21st December 2006. D'Lilah Star and Jesse James are named after their great grandmothers. D'Lila Star Combs was named after Porter's grandmother, Lilah Star, and her sister, Jessie James Combs, was named after Diddy's grandmother, Jesse Smalls.

The 37-year-old multi-millionaire was there for the birth - he received a phone call while filming a TV drama in Toronto advising him that girlfriend Kim Porter had gone into labour. In true P Diddy form he jumped on his private jet and made it to the hospital with an hour to spare. He was there for the whole delivery and helped to cut the babies’ umbilical cords.

The couple announced their separation in July 2007 after reports that P. Diddy has been embroiled with an affair with the actress Sienna Miller.
