Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony welcomed their newborn twins Max and Emme on 22nd February 2008. The brother and sister - the first children born to the 38-year-old actress - were delivered about 10 minutes apart at a Long Island hospital. Emme, weighing 5.7 pounds (2.6 kg), arrived first at about 12 minutes past midnight, and Max was born at 12:23 am, tipping the scales at 6 pounds even (2.7 kg), Lopez's manager, Simon Fields, confirmed to People.com. People says gifts have been pouring in to the family's Long Island home, including pillows and baby carriers with the babies' names embroidered on them. Lopez and Anthony, who has a daughter and two sons from two previous relationships, married in 2004. It is her third marriage. The couple starred together last year in ‘El Cantante’, a film about salsa legend Hector Lavoe. The names were first reported back in January when Jennifer Lopez’s mother, Guadelupe, had bought ID bracelets for the as-yet-unborn tots, bearing the names Max and Emme from a jeweller in Yorktown Heights, NY. It’s rumored that the twins’ full first names are Maximiano and Emelina. People magazine has reported paid $6 million for the first pics of the babies, which will be taken by Marc Anthony himself. Jennifer Lopez looked just radiant during her pregnancy. To see a photo of Jennifer with her twins, click here to see the photo on the front page of 'People' magazine.
