One of the most challenging phases of parenting multiples is when the childrens' desire to explore the world surpasses their ability to recognise and avoid danger.

Generally, this difficult stage exists between the ages of 1 and 3, as they become mobile. Almost every parent of twins experiences a situation where their toddlers take off in separate directions. They stand frozen in horror, not knowing which child to chase after first! Safety harnesses can provide a certain element of freedom, within safe boundaries.

The Tommi Guard is the 'Top of the Line' in harnesses.  The harness sits on the upper torso of the child, between the underarm and the waist.  This is recommended by pediatricians because it is one of the strongest places on a toddler's body.  It is not as safe when a harness is placed at the waist on a young child.  When children are older and extremely steady on their feet you can use a harness or belt at the waist.

This is a specially designed package for caregivers of twins and multiples.  Instead of buying two sets, here is one that will cover your needs.

You get two detachable handles for the tether so you can convert it to 'Leash' style use.  You can separate the two tethers so they can be used independently.  There is one adult belt in the Twin Pack.  When parents are using the Tommi Guard together with their twins, the second adult can use one of the two handles or an additional adult belt can be purchased on request.

The Tommi Guard harness has a plastic, child-proof clip at the back so the children cannot undo the clip while they are wearing the harness.  With the harness buddy, animal backpack style of harness, this clip is at the front.

Please note that the navy and midnight colours are actually the same, unlike that shown in the picture.  The colour is a very dark navy, almost black. The pink we have in stock is a brighter pink than that shown.
