Channel 7's Chris Reason, and Network Ten’s Early News presenter, Kathryn Robinson welcomed their twin children - a boy and a girl on 6th August 2007. The birth was announced on The Early News the following morning and during the evening on Seven News. The twins are the first children for the couple.

When the couple spoke to New Idea in May about their impending arrivals, they said they’re appreciating quiet time before the twins arrive.

“But we’re not stupid, we’re appreciating our lazy Sundays now because we’ve been warned life with twins is going to be pretty hectic.”

Lucy and Sam were born after several IVF attempts and after Reason's battle with cancer, and the couple couldn't be more thrilled.
