Rebecca Romijn and husband Jerry O'Connell welcomed twin girls, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip, on 28 December 2008. Rebecca likes Dolly Parton, so they named one after Dolly Parton, and Jerry chose to name the other one Charlie (his brother’s name is Charlie too). The couple who wed in 2007 sound ecstatic about the girls. But even before the birth, Jerry said he was being protective, saying they were only allowed to date men who run countries or heir to the throne. Rebecca also revealed that the twins were conceived without the help of in vitro fertilization or the fertility drug Clomid. "A year ago, we tried Clomid for a couple of months unsuccessfully," Romijn said. "But by the second month, I was like, 'Ahhh! I hate this!' I think when you start messing with your own hormones, it's crazy-making." Rebecca says she was never a girl who dreamed about what her wedding day would be like, but she'd always dreamed about decorating her baby’s nursery. She believes Jerry will make a fantastic dad because he's a pragmatic, smart, savvy, enthusiastic person. Search YouTube for the video of Jerry's interview about his twins on the hit TV show Ellen. |
